LYING- an abomination

Lying is a huge issue for many people, including christians. "Thou shall not lie" is one of the 10 commandment, but even christians have trouble with this commandment.

PROVERBS 6:16-19
16. These six things doth the LORD hate; yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief (or run quickly to do evil).
19. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

JOHN 8: 36
36. If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

JOHN 8:44
44. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the begining, and aboad not in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (father of lies).

Let's talk about the ORIGIN of lying and WHO and WHERE it started.

ISAIAH 14:12-17 [father of lies; father of pride]
12. How art thou fallen from heaven, o Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I wilk be like the most High.
15. Yet thou shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17. That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

Let me highlight some few scriptures that may hrlp us realize the consequences of our many lies. Remember,  when we lie, it obviously shows that we have a direct link to the father of lies- the devil- satan.

This link or soul ties of lies with Satan must be cut-off from within our soul; or we might end up spreading more lies and eventually spoiling thr testimony and integrity of our lives and in ministry.

Nobody on the planet is clean until we take the word of God (JOHN 15:3) into our hearts and believe that we are cleansed and purified as white as snow from within our hearts and outwardly (ISAIAH 1:15-20).

There are a lot of scriprures that tslk about lying and the consequences that comes with it. Below are just few to give us a headstart awareness and warnings!

* Lying initially started in Genesis after the fall of Lucifer in ISAIAH 14:12 we see. Lucifer fell because of PRIDE, which is one of the demonic character flaw in a human being like us. This will be discussed in my 3rd article. PRIDE led to the birth of this wickedness in the heart of mankind. PRIDE WILL ALWAYS LEAD TO LYING!

GENESIS 3:4
"You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman.

* LYING is also given and written in the ten (10) commandments. How dare we fail alot most of the time as christians? Lying is a challenge to most of us christians. Lying and Pride goes along with each other.

LEVITICUS 19:11
"Do not steal. Do not lie. Do not decieve one another."

* King David also pointed out the fact that lying will also destroy God's Word inside of our hearts where God dwells. Lying eventually pushes out the pure word of God that is steadfast in our hearts.

PSALMS 119:163
"I hate and detest falsehood but I love your law."
 
The more we grow in love with the WORD OF GOD, the more we identify and discern the different demonic presence that are already in the church. As such in this case study is the "spirit of lying". God literally hates LIARS. Just imagine if we fall into the trap of lying alot. Its like we are already inviting GOD'S WRATH into our daily lives and this is very scary.
I have being caught up in this trap many times but thank God the Holy Spirit helped me identify it and dealt with it head-on into my deliverance. Many of us Pastors lie on the pulpits alot to gain popular Opinion and attention from the crowds..

"I DON'T GET MY JOY, HAPPINESS AND SATISFACTION FROM ANYONE- I GET IT STRAIGHT FROM GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST AND THE HELP OF THE AMAZING HOLY SPIRIT."

PROVERBS 12: 22
The Lord detest lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.

PROVERBS 13:5
The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves.

PROVERBS 14:5
An honest witness doea not decieve, but false witness pours out lies

PROVERBS 17:7
Eloquent lips are unsuited to a godless fool- how much worse lying lips to a ruler.

HOSEA 11:12
Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, Israel with deceit. And Judah is unruly against GOD, even against the faithful Holy One.

▪ Scriptures are all throughout the bible about lying.

▪ Before Jacob became Israel, he was a liar. This was a generational curse. Lets see!

Everybody loves to talk about Jacob and how he was a trickstar, and how he was a supplanter. He was all that, and every bit of it.

I'm  sick of talking of or talking like Jacob and not his Momma. This is because he wasn't a trickstar, his momma was a trickstar to. The bible says she helped him lie.

Not only Jacob and his momma was a trick: he had an uncle name Laban who was also a trickstar. His uncle told him, "if you work for seven years, I'll give you Rachael.

Now, the mum is a trick, the uncle is a trick, but hold on! Where did he get the lying conniving spirit from?
Well, he got it from his daddy Isaac who lied and said that his wife was his sister.

But! Isaac got it from Abrahan who also said his wife was his sister.

So now! You can see it clearly that this lying spirit came down from the bloodline of Jacob and it was never dealt with until Jesus Broke every chains of curse in the bloodlines on that cross when He died on our behalf to redeem us back to God our Father. We are  free and free indeed just like the scripture says clearly in JOHN 8:36.

In order for us to be set free from every demonic soul ties and negative character flaws now in our lives, we have to go back in time and study how our forefathers and mothers lived. From then and only then, we will be able to decipher every generational curses that has right over our lives and we break it and destroy it through prayer and the power of the blood of Jesus Christ that sets us free for eternal life.

Lets break every generational curses that has rooted in our lives now! In the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Most High God,
